Cultural Event: A Day in Historic Kyoto
Delegates attending the conference are invited to join an exclusive walking tour to some of Kyoto's most historic and revered sites. From the tranquil ambience of Yasaka Shinto Shrine to the panoramic vistas of Kiyomizu-dera, this walking tour is an introduction to Kyoto's vibrant past.
The visit will be led by Professor Brian Victoria of the Oxford Centre for Buddhist Studies, whose in-depth historical and cultural knowledge of the sites will bring an academic edge to this already unique and exciting experience.
