Yachiyo celebrates the art of Kyoto-style kaiseki cuisine, a multi-course meal that emphasises seasonal ingredients and culinary craftsmanship.

Two Layer Bento Box

  • Nanzenji Mushi: Delicate steamed eggs infused with a flavourful broth.
  • Yudofu: Soft tofu simmered in a light, warming broth, typically enjoyed with dipping sauces.
  • Mixed Vegetables: A variety of seasonal vegetables, often served in a light dressing or sauce.
  • Simmered Dishes: Foods slowly cooked in a seasoned broth, enhancing their natural flavours.
  • Grilled Dishes: Ingredients, often fish or meat, expertly grilled to highlight their natural tastes.
  • Fried Foods: Dishes that are deep-fried to a crispy golden brown, ranging from tempura to other delicacies.
  • Sashimi: Thinly sliced, fresh raw fish or seafood, often accompanied by wasabi and soy sauce.
  • Soup: A warm broth often containing ingredients like seaweed, tofu, and fish.
  • Rice: Steamed white rice, the staple of many Japanese meals, sometimes garnished with pickles or sesame seeds.
  • What is Kaiseki?

    Kaiseki is a traditional Japanese multi-course meal that embodies the principles of Japanese culinary arts. It’s often considered the epitome of Japanese fine dining, and it emphasises seasonal ingredients, delicate flavours, and artistic presentation.

    Japanese meals contain fish, seafood and shellfish even in sauces and broths. As such, we cannot cater to vegans or those with seafood allergies during the conference dinner. Thank you for understanding.
